The members of the RC Celta Cadete A join the campaign ‘100 Anos – 100 Toneladas’, promoted on the occasion of the Centenary of the club, in the framework of the solidarity actions included in the Denominación de Orixe Celta programme of which all the Celta youth teams are part and which foresees a solidarity action of each of the teams per season.

The players of the Celtic cadet team joined the initiative launched by the Celta de Vigo Foundation and the Food Bank of Vigo with the donation of non-perishable food products and also received an enriching talk about the functioning of the Food Bank and the reality of the recipients of the campaign offered by the president of the Vigo entity, Iván Martínez, and its head of communication, Ruth Villar.

The campaign ‘100 Anos -100 Tons’, which the Celta Foundation and the Food Bank of Vigo launched on the occasion of the celebration of the club’s Centenary, received a significant boost a few days ago with the donation of 500 kilos of canned food and biscuits by the Galician firm Grupo Pereira.

Those who wish to collaborate with this solidarity initiative can deposit non-perishable food at the points set up for this purpose in the club’s official shops at A Sede and Abanca Balaídos from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00 and on Sundays when there is a match in the stadium.

In addition, the club has set up an exclusive telephone line for companies wishing to participate. You can call 666 533 366 from 10:00 to 14:00 hours. Donations can be made at the Banco de Alimentos, at Avenida de Alcalde Lavadores 102, or can be collected at the company itself by the food bank.
