RC Celta was the second most recognised brand with 4 golds, 3 silvers and 1 bronze.

The Centenary anthem, ‘Oliveira dos Cen Anos’, received this afternoon in Donostia one of the most important recognitions to date. The anthem composed by C.Tangana and its corresponding video, produced by the club and Little Spain, were among the big winners with 8 awards at the XXV edition of the National Creativity Awards, organised by the Club de Creativos. Antón Álvarez (C.Tangana), Cristina Trenas from Little Spain and Gael García, Head of content at RC Celta, were present at the gala.

These awards, which are the highest distinction in the advertising sector in Spain, put RC Celta at the level of major national and international companies such as Estrella Galicia, Dove, Greenpeace, KFC, Heinz, McDonalds, Netflix, Red Bull, Sony Music or Suchard, among others. In fact, this afternoon’s gala, held at the Kursaal in Donostia, places RC Celta as the second most recognised brand in the competition’s list of winners with 4 golds, 3 silvers and 1 bronze. A milestone only within reach of the big advertisers.

The first distinction of the evening came in the form of Gold in the Strategy category, specifically under the heading of Tactics. The jury recognised how RC Celta, thanks to the talent of C. Tangana, knew how to take advantage of the opportunity offered by the Centenary to reinforce its brand strategy.

Oliveira dos Cen Anos’ was also recognised with a Silver in Sound in the Content category. An area that recognises the creativity and innovation of content that, thanks to its relevance, reaches an audience outside the conventional advertising space.

In the Craft category, which recognises all aspects related to the execution of the pieces presented, the spectacular video that accompanied the anthem was recognised in several sections. Antón Álvarez (C.Tangana) won the Gold award for best direction. The jury thus valued the work carried out by Antón behind the cameras, awarding the final staging of the piece, both on a technical and artistic level.

In the same Craft category, the jury highlighted the spectacular work of the Little Spain team, the production company behind the video production of ‘Oliveira dos Cen Anos’. Specifically, in the categories of Special Effects (Silver), Production Direction (Silver), Cinematography (Gold) and Sound and Music (Gold).

In the Ideas section, the project was awarded a Bronze for the quality of the idea behind the anthem and its contribution to brand growth.
