‘GENERATION 23′ KICKS OFF THIS SUNDAY AT ABANCA BALAÍDOS WITH THE REUNION OF THE LIGHT BLUE YOUTH PLAYERS FROM THE 2000/01 SEASON.

The first episode of the ‘Generation 23’, an initiative organised by the club on the occasion of the Centenary, will take place this Sunday before the match against Valladolid. Around twenty players from the RC Celta Youth Division of Honour team from the 2000/2001 season will gather before the start of the match to enjoy an emotional reunion, share memories and experiences and live a unique experience in the Abanca Balaídos stadium.

The players from that youth team will receive Centenary scarves as a souvenir of this reunion and will enjoy a guided tour of the stadium. They will also follow the team’s arrival and warm-up from the touchline from the tunnel. After these activities, they will go to the box to enjoy this exciting RC Celta – Valladolid.

This emotive initiative will be continued in the coming years, in which the young RC Celta players of each generation will meet again to remember their best moments with the light blue shirt and enjoy together a match in Abanca Balaídos in a very special way.
