RC Celta, its Foundation and Banco de Alimentos Vigo reactivate this Tuesday before the match against Girona in Abanca Balaídos the solidarity campaign ‘100 Anos – 100 Toneladas’, launched a few months ago on the occasion of the Centenary of the club and that has had a great reception by the Celta fans, citizenship and entities and companies from all Galicia.
From 18:00, the fans will be able to make their donations in the stands of Gol, Río and Tribuna, where they will be collected by volunteers and members of Fundación Celta Integra and deposited in vans of the Banco de Alimentos.
At present, the Fundación Provincial Banco de Alimentos de Vigo serves some 20,000 people in vulnerable situations and reaches them through more than 150 NGOs and approved entities with which it works in the province of Pontevedra.
The foods most needed for this campaign are those used for breakfast: milk, biscuits, cocoa, and cereals, as well as tinned meat and fish, pulses and vegetables in glass jars and oil.
