100 Years – 100 Tons’, the ambitious collection campaign launched a few weeks ago by the Celta Foundation and the Food Bank of Vigo on the occasion of the celebration of the Centenary of the RC Celta, received an important boost thanks to the collaboration of the Pereira Group, which has donated 500 kilos of canned food and biscuits of its brand Biscuits Galicia.
In this way, Grupo Pereira becomes the first Galician company to join the challenge of collecting 100 tons of non-perishable food to help disadvantaged families in the year of the RC Celta Centenary.
The general manager of Pereira Group, José Enrique Pereira, was received at the headquarters of the Food Bank by the president of RC Celta, Carlos Mouriño, and the vice president of the host entity, Polo Quinteiro, who thanked the generous contribution of the Galician company to the campaign ‘100 Years – 100 Tons’.
The companies that wish to support Pereira’s initiative can call the phone number, enabled by the Celta Foundation, 666 533 366 from 10.00 to 14:00 hours. Donations can be made at the Food Bank, at Avenida de Alcalde Lavadores 102, or request that they be collected at the company itself by the Food Bank.
Individuals can deposit non-perishable food at the points set up for this purpose in the official club shops in A Sede and Abanca Balaídos from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00 and on match Sundays at the one located in the Balaídos stadium.
