KELTOI!, COSTAS, WELCOME TO THE TEAM, TIFO… THE FIRST BIG PARTY OF THE CENTENARY, THIS FRIDAY IN ABANCA BALAÍDOS

First match of 2023 at Abanca Balaídos. The team and all the Celta fans will unite during the match between RC Celta and Villarreal CF in a celebration of #100anosdeAfoutezaeCorazon, which had to be postponed in part a few days ago due to the weather alert.

The match, at 21:00, will be the centrepiece of a big party with the fans, who actively participated in the preparation of this programme through the proposals sent to the Centenary website and in a recent meeting with the Federation of Supporters Clubs. Throughout the day there will be moments of passion and emotions to commemorate the club’s first 100 years.

The activities will begin around the stadium at 16:00 hours with children’s entertainment, face painting, entertainers, stilt walkers, balloon twisting, etc… From 17:45 hours, in the esplanade outside Tribuna, the RC Celta followers will be able to enjoy one of the bands of reference for the light blue team fans: Keltoi!

The band from Vigo will offer a repertoire with songs like ‘1923’ or ‘Unhas cores, un sentimento’. Besides, they will have a very special guest for the occasion.

Miguel Costas, historical member of ‘Siniestro Total’ and author of such well-known hymns as ‘Miña Terra Galega’ or ‘Bailaré sobre tu tumba’ will take the stage with Keltoi! in what will be a unique moment for Vigo’s music and Celtismo. The musical day will be completed with DJ Javier Vidal, a regular at La Iguana Club and Sala Mondo.

At 19:23 one of the highlights of the day will take place. The RC Celta bus will arrive at Abanca Balaídos and the spectacular scenes of communion between team and fans that have led to so many victories, some of them miraculous, will be relived.

It will not be the last of the actions of this unforgettable day. Before the start of the match, a large tifo launched from the Río stand will pay tribute to the sky-blue legends who have marked an epoch in the club’s history over the last 100 years.

A day in which there will be more surprises for the light blue team fans who come to Abanca Balaídos to support the team against Villarreal CF.
